Good morning! I have not been on here since Dec, so I wanted to keep you posted. I am almost 32 weeks along and waiting! The doctor says that anything after 36 weeks is a go, so I am trying not to get my hopes up of course, however it would be ok with me if he came then!! ha! Erik and I are attending our second Parenting Class tonight at SkyRidge Medical Hospital(this is where Kolton will be born). It is really neat to experience this with him and he is such a father at heart already!!! We decided to spell Kolton's name with a "K" instead of a "C". Something very unique for a very special boy! We are ready to go!!! This weekend we got his crib/mattress, carrier, stroller, bassinet, and the most precious swing!!!!! Erik and Katrina put the bassinet together,so it is all ready!!! His clothes are all washed and ready for him to wear!!! He has some pretty cute clothes from little duckies to some tough football attire!! Thank you Grandma Lucy and Grandmother Martha for helping us prepare for his arrival!!!! Being a parent is a lifetime adventure and a joy that never goes away! We love you both and we appreciate all that you have done for us and of course all that you continue to do when we are parents ourselves!! Your example is wonderful!!!
We have been doing well and Kolton is just getting bigger, and running out of room it feels like! Watch him only be 6 lbs or something!! ha!!! We weigh 172.5 lbs, so I have not gained too much from the last entry. Erik and I have been singing to him every night before bedtime in hopes that he will be soothed by that when he enters this world!!! We just can not wait to see him! We can not wait until everyone comes out here! Not only for Kolton, but just to have family around!!! We miss everyone so much and it will be so awesome to see everyone! I hope everyone has a great week and I will try to write again sooner!
